How can I change my benefits?

Since Ascen's benefits are pre-tax, you can only change your benefits under several conditions:

• When you onboard with Ascen

• Anytime during the 30-day waiting period from your start date

• During Open Enrollment

  • A two-week period each year (currently in June but subject to change), when you can change plans for any reason

• If you have a Qualifying Life Event

  • These are major events in your life, such as getting married, having a baby, or losing health coverage that you had previously that can make you eligible for a Special Enrollment Period, allowing you to enroll in health insurance outside the yearly Open Enrollment Period.

Note: 401(k) plans are not subject to the same rules, and you can change your contributions at any time.
